I love St Mary's because it is a loving, caring and nurturing environment which I am thrilled to attend each day. St Mary's offers a high quality standard of education which benefits me every day. St Mary's is full of tremendous opportunities suiting every individual. My favourites are debating/public speaking; maths challenges; St Vincent de Paul Society; SRC; hockey and more! St Mary's is a unique, unified community making it different to any other school.

 I love St Mary's because every day in my tutor group I can see the ocean and, no matter what your day is like you'll always have recess and lunch time to hang out with your friends. I love learning different skills in food tech and taking photos in art, going on excursions to the beach to learn about geographical issues and doing different types of sport in PE.

 I love St Mary's because I love the freedom to come to school every day without the pressures of needing to impress anyone. Every day I have the chance to express myself. The countless number of extra-curricular activities and interest groups invite all students to be involved in things they enjoy and are passionate about. I love the individuality, the self-expression and the freedom.

 I love St Mary's because of the brilliant variety of opportunities it offers me. The diversity of subjects offered and the modern facilities at St Mary's really help my educational journey. There are countless extra curricular activities to participate in and enjoy not to mention the sporting activities. Our laptops help with our classwork and research tasks. The teachers are helpful and guide me towards my goals. I look forward to school each day to spend time in this fantastic location with my crazy, fun-loving friends.

 I love St Mary's because the teachers and older students are very supportive, welcoming, respectful and encouraging, all the charasteristics should be. St Mary's also provides a range of activities, such as art club, conservation club and theatre sports, which I enjoy doing with my friends. I am proud to be a student of St Mary Star of the Sea College and thoroughly enjoy my time here.

 I love St Mary’s because I know that by being here I am part of a rich tradition of Catholic education for women.
As a student of the College, I was always encouraged to respond to the world around me, to question my assumptions of knowledge, and to uphold Catholic values of peace, justice and compassion in my relationships with others.  My teachers nurtured my natural curiosity and instilled in me a deep love of learning. Today, as a teacher at the College, these characteristics of our community are what buoy me every day.  I love teaching here because learning is alive here.  St Mary’s is a genuine learning community.
