Come and join the SMC Caritas Committee
Caritas is Latin for love and compassion. Our committee works for the freedom of those who are oppressed by injustice and poverty around the world and in Australia.
It is our aim to create awareness and humanity throughout the College and give students the opportunity to help poor communities around the world. Caritas is the Catholic Church's agency for aid and development. It helps those suffering from poverty and oppression.
The Caritas committee meets every Day 8 in E110 at 1pm. New members are always welcome. During meetings we education our members on what Caritas are doing to help those in need around the world. We also organise fund raising events such as Project Compassion and the Hush a thon. All committee members took part in the Be More Challenge this year and we are looking forward to making it bigger and better next year.

So come along and make a difference.

Thanks Nichola and Beth (Caritas Exec)
