Try High School for a Day!
St Mary’s College and Edmund Rice College invite Year 5 students to spend a fun day at high school where they will get to try a range of activities from subjects they will actually do in Year 7.
This one day program was very popular last year with many Year 5 students from Catholic and other Primary Schools enjoying the chance to “try Year 7 for a day”.
There is no cost for this activity. St Mary’s and Edmund Rice Colleges will provide transport and supervision for Catholic Primary School students.
Simply complete the Registration form below and return it to St Mary's College by Friday 30th October.

On Sunday 30 August, our enthusiastic team of students – Yr 7 Alyssa-Jane Mackillop, Bella Roberts, Amber O’Dea; Yr 8 Shakira Cappetta, Brooke Kolodziej; Yr 10 Alison Wolfe, Laura McIntosh, competed in the regional challenge held at Nowra High. Their performance was entertaining and the judges were impressed with their sense of humour and adaptation to the story’s narrative about how all the books in the world have suddenly disappeared. Our students showed their commitment to team work, a sense of fun and energy in their dramatic presentation. We look forward to their continued interest in this challenge and to their participation next year in this worth while problem solving and creative thinking program.
Thanks also to staff members: Ms Holt, Mr Bell and Ms Leitch who were involved in providing lunch time meetings and team building skills with the students. Their support was much appreciated.

The college community is proud to announce the incoming Student Leadership Team for 2010.
Students in Year 11 went through a process of written applications, speeches to their peers and an election to discern the new leaders of the student body.
We wish to congratulate Madeline Bow (College Captain 2010) and we wish her team of leaders well for the service they will give the College community. We all look forward to the lasting contribution the team will undoubtedly make to the community and are confident they will proudly continue the rich heritage of leadership and service they have inherited.
