Year 12 gift to the College, an act of compassion
Year 12 took a different approach to their gift to the College this year.
Year 12 took a different approach to their gift to the College this year. The students decided that over the six years at the College they had learnt a great deal and the most important were the values of the Good Samaritan and this provided them with lessons for life. Their gift was an act of compassion and in the spirit of the Share the Dignity Campaign they presented 64 dignity gift bags to the Supported Accommodation and Homelessness Service for women in the Shoalhaven and the Illawarra. Their hope is that this gift will make a small difference to women in the area and provide them with dignity and comfort. Additionally, they gave a small memento to the College - a framed piece of mindfulness colouring which is hoped will support future Year 12 students to keep a sense of balance and perspective throughout their final year.
