My body of work is called ‘Eyes of the Elements’. This is to represent the four elements - earth, water, fire and air/wind. Each look is based on an element.

I based this collection on my love of makeup and photography so an incorporation of both seemed to be a good fit. The white side of the face was to enhance and emphasise the makeup and to help add contrast. My inspiration from Mario Testino was solely based on his infamous Kate Moss look where it was a close up portrait with pops of colour on certain parts of her face. This helped to enhance her famous features. The photos were taken with a digital camera and a black background was used. Lighting was created using studio lights. At the beginning, I was editing the images using photoshop but decided not to because I wanted the images to be seen as they were taken, flaws and all.
