My photographic series, ‘Untitled’, is a homage to photographer artist Jouko Antero Lehtola. I was inspired by his work, specifically from his collections, “Young Heroes” and “Urban Youth” which depicts rebellious teenagers in their street and party lifestyles and environments during the 1990’s in Finland.

I chose the name “Untitled”, because all of Jouko’s pieces from these two collections are called “Untitled”, and I wanted to incorporate that aspect of his work into mine. The street art wall, of vivid patterns and prints, brings colour and life to the photos. I had my models wear casual street style outfits and pose naturally which contributes to the edgy raw aesthetic, very similar to the approach used by Jouko Antero Lehtola.
