Become a Host Family – Share Culture, Create Connection

St Mary’s is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Keika Girls' High School in Japan, welcoming their students for an 11-day Educational and Cultural Enrichment Tour from 21 July to 1 August 2025.
We're inviting families to open their homes and be part of this unique billeting opportunity. Hosting a student offers an unforgettable chance to experience cultural exchange, build lifelong friendships, and bring the world a little closer – all from your living room.
Host families receive a daily allowance and are fully supported by our experienced partners at ARET, with 24/7 assistance in English and Japanese.

The Year 11 Drama class proudly presents 'The Government Inspector'.A comedy of errors that makes us question - does money really make the world go round? In a small town outside of New York City, corruption is rife, and the Mayor and his cronies have got it made. So when they learn they are going to be subject to an undercover government inspection they panic. Mistaking a penniless nobody for the inspector they swiftly fall victim to their own stupidity and greed.

Year 7 Grandparents Day
Come join us at St Mary Star of the Sea College for a fun-filled morning celebrating the special bond between grandparents and their grandchildren. This in-person event will be a fantastic opportunity for Year 7 students to showcase their talents and hospitality. There will be plenty of activities and entertainment planned to make this day a memorable morning.
