150th Anniversary Celebrations in 2023
From the Principal
It is with a considerable sense of both pride and humility that I invite you to share in the celebration of the 150 years of St Mary Star of the Sea in 2023. By any measure, this is an extraordinary milestone. The history of our College is as much about the history of our city of Wollongong and our State of New South Wales as it is about the proud traditions and evolution of our College.
Two of the high points of our celebration of this milestone in 2023 will be our Celebration Mass and Gala Black Tie Ball both to be held at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre (WEC). The Mass was held on Wednesday, 15 February and the Gala Ball on Saturday, 20 May 2023.

Mother's Day Breakfast

Dear Parents & Carers,
We are delighted to invite you to join us for the St Mary's Mother's Day Breakfast on Friday, 5 May, from 7.45am to 9.30am. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honour the special women in our lives who have provided us with endless love and support.
The event will be held at the College SGN Hall, and we have a special program planned for the occasion. We are thrilled to announce that Brigitte Phillips, a mother, Alumnae and PhD holder in neuroscience, will be our Special Guest Speaker. Brigitte will share her inspiring story of resilience and the power of love.
This is a free event, and we would love to see as many parents as possible attend.
